MFT Scrap sketch

Here is my submission for the scrap sketch from My Favorite Things over at Splitcoast.  I have not scrapped in a really long time and it was just what I needed to get my mojo going again.  I used
Bella Blvd DSP and bazill cardstock, some dienamics from MFT and the triple scoop stamp set for this month.  Thanks for looking!

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 107

Hello all, I am feeling much better, what an awful sickness I had.  I missed three days of work, down and out on the couch.
Here is my take on the weekly sketch challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers for My Favorite Things.  I used all MFT cardstock, it is wonderfully thick and makes a great base for a card.  It also cuts like a dream.  I got the looped border dienamic and the oval open scallop doily dienamic with my last order and had to try them out.  I also used my favorite fishtail flags layer stax for my sentiment. Love my buttons from mft too.  I colored with my copics. I made this for my nephew for Valentines Day. Hope he enjoys it. Thank you for checking it out and have a stamp happy day!

Old Sketch Challenges and New Toys

Hello and Good Monday to everyone! I recently found and printed out all of the old sketch challenges from My Favorite Things, so I decided to make some cards.  This is my first one from the sketch numbered 56.  I used one of my favorite Stampin' Up! colors, Marina Mist.  That beautiful ribbon is from MFT, the rhinestones and dsp are SU!. I made this card with my husband's aunt and uncle in mind.  We recently saw them for the holidays and they treated us to dinner so I will be mailing this out to her soon.

Here is a quick peek at the inside.  I used the stamp set Darling Dots from MFT Lisa Johnson Designs.  I find myself using this set a tremendous amount.  Hope you enjoyed my card today!
Have a stamp happy day!

I decided to give this guest designer contest a try with some of my new goodies.  You can see all of the great entries over at Splitcoast Stampers.  My card is made with Stampin Up! Cardstock and October Afternooon paper.  I used Memento ink, it works great for coloring with your copics.  The dienamics I used areFishtail Flags Layering Stax and Jumbo Snowflake. These dies are great they always cut smooth and completely through whatever you are cutting.  This cute little snowman is from the stamp set Thanks Snow Much. I used a little tulle and some glitter on my snowflakes.  I hope you enjoyed my card. I had fun making it.

Have a stamp happy day!

Have a great weekend and hopefully I will get some more layouts done and posted next week. Have a stamp happy day!

LONG TIME NO BLOG
Hello all, it has been 4 long years and I have decided to blog again.  Life just gets crazy and we have no time.  I am hoping to have a little time to post on occasion and this blogging world confuses me.  I am a Stampin' Up demo but love to use other products so not really sure how this is going to work out.  Anyway here is a card I made for my daughter for her birthday tomorrow.  Happy Birthday Jaedyn!

I just recently started shopping at My Favorite Things. I used to be a customer and I strayed and I have to say that I am sorry that I did. They have amazing dies that are so much fun.  I used a retired DSP from SU and the a la modes Groovy Girl stamp set.  I also used several dienamics, chevron stripes, mini wavy pennants, plentiful petals, and fishtail flags. Jaedyn loves peace signs and anything hippie so I am sure she will love it.
On a more personal note my oldest son made it to states for big league baseball this year and that is where I spent my 4th of July week and weekend.
Here he is stealing 3rd base. I am such a proud mama! Congratulations Kyle!!!!!
This week I start club and I utilized my new SU catalog for inspiration and I made the wreath on page 71. It is not exact but close.
I also made a scrapbook page for them. Hope they all enjoy it.
This page is all SU product with the exception of the stamps used to spell out field hockey.  They are CTMH. Thanks for looking and talk to you soon.
